HSE is considered a value. As such, urgency, greater importance, unavailability of means or resources, or any other reasons cannot serve as a justification for non-compliance with HSE rules and procedures.
Committee
Senior Management, the Area Owner Manager and other hierarchical levels are directly responsible for people's health and safety.
Environmental Preservation
Rationally and sustainably using natural resources, managing risks and mitigating environmental impacts.
Special Rules
They are inviolable. Work is considered adequate only when it is performed in compliance with Health, Safety and Environment procedures.
Service Providers
They are responsible for ensuring that all HSE requirements and GTFoods Policies are strictly observed. Contractual and disciplinary measures must be enforce when cases of non-compliance are identified.
HSE Training
Managers are responsible for ensuring that services are performed by duly qualified, trained and capable people. All workers have a responsibility to prevent accidents, diseases and environmental damage.
Hazard and Risk Management
Carried out through the risk matrix and engineering and administrative controls. At the same time, hazards and risks are also managed with collective and individual protection measures.
Availability of PPE's and CPE's
These are service tools, and their use is mandatory in accordance with the activities of each employee. The committee assures that they are supplied and up-to-date.
Investigation and Analysis of Incidents and Accidents
Subject to analysis and investigations in accordance with the applicable Standard Operating Procedure.
Pre-startup of Machines and Equipment
Every technological innovation, change in work procedure, work condition or operation must be preceded by a risk analysis prior to introduction, with the participation of groups of multidisciplinary people and training for those involved.
